Important AIPG Initiative: "Good Practices for Gums"

Quality matters and food safety requirements are an important issue in the entire food and food additive branch, and thus are of high importance also in case of natural gums such as Gum acacia. AIPG has issued in 2011 "Good Practices for Gums" (GPG, current version dated 5th December, 2022), giving recommendations on local collection, interim storage, transportation, warehouse storing and processing in facilities of the producing countries. This is accompanied by some practical recommendations set out in the practical Implementation Plan (19th July, 2011).
